How do I cancel my subscription?

App Store subscriptions:

  1. Open the App Store app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your profile picture in the top right.
  3. Tap Subscriptions > Quince Chat.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription.

Web subscriptions: send us a cancellation request via the form below. We process within 1 business day. You keep access until the end of your current billing period.

How do I request a refund?

Web purchases (first 30 days):

  1. Pick Refund request in the form below.
  2. Include your purchase email, approximate purchase date, and order ID if you have it.
  3. Send the message - we process within 3 days maximum. Depending on your bank, it might take up to 15 days for the money to hit your account.

App Store purchases: refunds are handled by Apple, not us. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, find the charge, and tap Request a refund.

How do I delete my account?

Two ways, depending on what you want:

  • Local only: uninstall the app. Your account exists only on your device, so removing the app wipes it.
  • Full data deletion: pick Privacy / data request in the form below and write "Delete my account" in the message. We respond within 30 days.
I forgot my 12-word recovery phrase - can you help?

No. We never see or store your recovery phrase, so we can't recover it. This is exactly what keeps your account private - only you have access. If you've lost it, you'll need to create a new account. Always back up your recovery phrase in a safe place.

Why no phone number or email to sign up?

Quince Chat uses a 12-word recovery phrase - similar to a crypto wallet - as your identity. We never store your personal identifiers. Apple has verified that zero data is collected from you.

Can Quince Chat staff read my messages?

No. Messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device, and we don't store message content on our servers. Apple has verified that zero data is collected from you.

How does the built-in network privacy work?

Your internet traffic is encrypted and routed through a secure private server - built directly into the app. The first time you turn it on, iOS asks you to allow a network configuration profile, which is normal and required by iOS for any app that protects network traffic. Your activity is not logged.
